RENM Performance has launched the STS-700 based on a Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale. The car has been equipped with a carbon fiber body kit reducing weight, drag and increasing downforce and airflow, along with a better cooling of the engine and brakes. Speaking of the engine, the V10 is now producing 700 HP (514.85 kW) at 8,500 rpm while the stock version churns out 570 HP (419 kW).
This was possible by installing titanium connecting rods, larger titanium inlet, custom billet camshafts, exhaust ports, exhaust valves, custom billet pistons and crankshaft, as well as a valve-controlled titanium exhaust system which is 63 percent lighter.
Thanks to these changes, the STS-700 reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds (0.2s quicker) and has a top speed of more than 205 mph (330 km/h), whereas the standard Super Trofeo Stradale can reach 199 mph (320 km/h).
Besides increasing output, RENM Performance also performed in-depth chassis and suspension tweaks by installing Ohlins three-way fully adjustable dampers, wider wheel tracks, adjustable front anti-roll bar and whisbone suspension links. There's also an upgraded carbon ceramic brake kit, while the interior has Alcantara-wrapped lightweight sport seats, modified gear shifters, customized roll cage with four-point harness, fire extinguisher and seat belts.
